Pesticides control various types of pests - weeds, harmful insects, and disease-causing organisms such as fungi, bacteria, and viruses. Effective pest management depends upon chemicals that perform consistently on the target pests over time. The efforts to Syngenta to maintain effective crop protection products combine a wide array of proven resistance management techniques not only to prevent pest resistance, but also to manage it when it occurs.
